Government-approved driving schools

- ask to meet with the instructors who will be conducting the classroom instruction and in-vehicle training
Register for beginner driver education
When you register to take a beginner driver education course, a government-approved driving school should:
- make a copy of any driver's licence you hold and return it to you right away
- provide your registration information to the ministry so there will be a record of your driver education
Classroom instruction
Driving schools that offer a government-approved beginner driver education course must provide a minimum of 20 hours of classroom instruction delivered by a qualified instructor. They must also make sure that: Chale chalo lagaan karaoke download song.

- each student has a copy of the course textbook and the official Driver's Handbook for use before and during the course

In-vehicle training

Flexible training
Driving schools that offer a government-approved beginner driver education course must include 10 hours of 'flexible' instruction time. This time can be used for:
- additional vehicle and/or classroom instruction
- driving simulation instruction
- computer-based instruction or HomeLink
Beginner driver education proof of course completion
When you successfully complete a government-approved beginner driver education course, your driving school will certify you online. Your student driver record will be updated through the Ministry of Transportation to show that you have completed the course.
To get proof that you've completed the course, you need to get your Driver's Licence History. You can request it at any ServiceOntario Office or by mail. A Driver's Licence History can only be requested by the licence holder.
